I qualified from Newcastle University in 1994. And after working in hospital and general practice joined Hurst Park Dental in 2000.

Working at such a forward thinking practice has allowed me to continue to study and develop a special interest in Aesthetic dentistry and I now focus a large proportion of my time creating beautiful smiles for my patients using the latest technology.

I am particularly keen to use minimally invasive techniques wherever possible and strongly believe that cosmetic improvements should go hand in hand with healthy teeth.

I have continually studied throughout my career and have completed certificate courses from the Eastman Dental institute in restorative dentistry, Implantology and Aesthetic dentistry. In 2016 I completed my MSc in Aesthetic Dentistry at the prestigious King’s College London, passing with Distinction.

I have since been asked to assist with the teaching of the 2017 Masters programme at King’s College London and am thoroughly enjoying helping the students in this capacity.

I am experienced in providing a wide range of aesthetic dental services including smile design, state of the art ceramic veneers and crowns as well as orthodontics using Invisalign clear aligners and Bioclear for minimally invasive closure of diastemas and black triangles between teeth.

I am happy to see patients on referral from another dentist or self-referrals, and offer a free initial consultation for aesthetic dental problems.

Aparna Vidyashankar completed her bachelor's degree from the Rajiv Gandhi University for Health Sciences, Bengaluru, India. After qualifying, she worked as a General Dentist in India for 3 years. Since moving to the United Kingdom, she has completed the Overseas Registration Examination (ORE) in 2013 with the General Dental Council, UK, and completed a year of Dental Foundation Training by equivalence in the West Midlands deanery area. She was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (MFDS RCS Edin) in 2014.

Aparna has been working as an Associate Dentist in Cambridge since August 2016. Her interests lie in Restorative dentistry and Aesthetic Dentistry, and she has completed a Postgraduate Diploma and is a fellow of the British Academy of Aesthetic Restorative and Implant Dentistry (BAARID). She is a certified Bioclear practitioner, providing highly aesthetic, well-adapted, anatomically shaped anterior and posterior composite restorations. She is also trained in Invisalign and 32Co aligners, combining advanced clinical expertise with a patient-centred approach to deliver long-lasting, natural-looking smile transformations.

Outside her dental practice and family life, Aparna enjoys travelling and painting.

Dr Danya Mougharbel graduated from King's College London in 2011 and has since built a reputation for delivering high-quality dentistry with a gentle, patient-centred approach.

She has a keen interest in general dentistry, cosmetic smile makeovers, and implant dentistry, and is particularly passionate about helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their treatment journey. Known for her calm and empathetic manner, Dr Danya has a natural ability to put even the most anxious patients at ease.

Dr Danya has completed extensive postgraduate training in cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry, and was awarded 'Best Dentist' at the end of her implant training. Her clinical focus includes direct composite bonding, porcelain restorations, dental implants, and full-mouth rehabilitations, always tailored to each patient's individual needs and goals.

In addition, Dr Danya has undertaken advanced training in facial aesthetics on Harley Street and at other world-renowned institutions. As an aesthetic practitioner, she combines medical expertise with an artistic eye to offer anti-ageing injections, dermal fillers, and bio-remodelling treatments, helping patients achieve natural, refreshed results that beautifully complement their smiles.
