Invisalign® in Cambridge.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign® is the clear alternative to traditional braces. Using a series of nearly invisible, medical-grade aligners, the system gradually shifts your teeth into alignment. It is designed specifically for those who require a sophisticated, discrete correction that fits a busy professional lifestyle.Unlike fixed brackets, Invisalign® aligners are removable. This allows you to maintain your normal diet and hygiene routine without the risk of broken wires or "emergency" repairs. Every aligner is custom-engineered to apply precise, calibrated pressure, ensuring a predictable and comfortable transition to your final result.

How much does Invisalign cost in Cambridge?
The cost of Invisalign depends on the complexity of your case and the duration of treatment. Generally, prices for mild corrections start from approximately £1,500, while more comprehensive cases start from £3,500. We provide a fixed, all-inclusive quote following your initial 3D scan.
Is Invisalign as effective as traditional metal braces?
For the vast majority of orthodontic cases, yes. Invisalign is highly effective for closing gaps, correcting crowding, and fixing most bite issues. During your Patient Discovery session, we use a 3D digital simulation to confirm if Invisalign is the most effective clinical pathway for your specific goals.
Does Invisalign treatment hurt?
Invisalign is generally much more comfortable than traditional braces. You may feel a sensation of "pressure" for the first 24–48 hours after switching to a new set of aligners, which is a positive sign that your teeth are moving according to the digital plan.
How many hours a day do I need to wear my aligners?
To achieve the results predicted in your 3D plan, aligners must be worn for 20 to 22 hours per day. They should only be removed for eating, drinking (anything other than water), and your daily brushing and flossing routine.
Do I need to wear a retainer after Invisalign?
Yes. To maintain your new alignment and protect your investment, retainers are essential. We provide custom-fitted retainers at the end of your treatment to ensure your teeth do not migrate back to their original positions.
How do I keep my Invisalign aligners clean?
The best way to clean your aligners is to brush them gently with a soft toothbrush and rinse them in lukewarm water. Avoid using hot water, as it can warp the medical-grade plastic. We also recommend specialized cleaning crystals to keep them clear and odor-free.
Is Invisalign suitable for closing gaps (Diastema)?
Invisalign is an excellent solution for closing gaps between teeth. The 3D digital plan calculates the exact amount of pressure needed to move the teeth together symmetrically, ensuring the final result looks natural and aligns perfectly with your facial features.
